Linda Christmann, MD, 
Associate Medical Director of Quality and Patient Safety

Linda Christmann, MD, MBA, recently joined Kaiser Permanente of Georgia as the associate medical director for quality and patient safety. In this newly-created position, Christmann will focus on improving processes and systems of care, and overseeing Region-wide quality and patient safety programs. Christmann will work under The Southeast Permanente Medical Group (TSPMG), which provides care exclusively for Kaiser Permanente of Georgia members.

“I’m excited to join Kaiser Permanente and TSPMG, one the top multi-specialty medical groups in the Southeast,” Dr. Christmann said. “It’s a great opportunity to work with a group of excellent physicians who are dedicated to improving the health of our patients. I’m also looking forward to collaborating with Kaiser Permanente to create programs that emphasize ongoing clinical improvement, service excellence and affordability.”

Prior to joining Kaiser Permanente and TSPMG, Dr. Christmann served as vice president of medical affairs and regional chief medical officer for CHRISTUS Central Louisiana, a regional group of hospitals based in Texas. In that role, her responsibilities included managing quality, safety, risk management and infection control. Dr. Christmann completed medical school, a research fellowship and ophthalmology residency at University of Texas Medical School Houston.
