Through our team approach and commitment to providing high-quality care and service, The Southeast Permanente Group (TSPMG) is uniquely positioned to provide specialty care to Kaiser Permanente members. We concentrate our specialty care resources and expertise at certain locations, so members receive care from board-certified doctors who are well trained and well practiced in these specialties. Each of our specialty care practice areas provide connected, personalized, safe, accessible and convenient care throughout the Atlanta area.

All of our TSPMG physicians use KP HealthConnect, our electronic health record, which allows ePrescribing, Web visits, and communication with members using secure e-mail messaging.

Members who receive care from a TSPMG specialist...

• Can easily schedule your appointments online or through our central call center
• Are linked to their primary care doctor and specialist through our Electronic Medical record system, KP HealthConnect, that alerts your care team to drug allergies, abnormal test results, and treatment conflicts
• Have secure, online access to health records and lab results through kp.org
• Benefit from the convenience of on-site pharmacy, lab, and X-ray services

All Kaiser Permanente Georgia members have direct access to all TSMPG specialty departments. This means that members do not need a referral when they visit any TSPMG specialist located in our medical offices.

For non-TSPMG specialty care, members continue to have direct access to certain specialties without a referral, including Behavioral Health, Dermatology, Ob/Gyn, Opthalmology, Optometry and Psychiatry. For other contracted specialties (with some exceptions), a referral from the members’ PCP is required.
