The doctor-patient relationship is the foundation of our care. Building a relationship with a physician is an important part of our members' health care. Over time, a personal physician will become familiar with the member's medical history and unique health concerns. We encourage all of our members to select a personal physician who will work with them to help them make medical decisions.
One of our top priorities is to continually improve the quality of health care we provide. By coordinating patient care and working closely with their fellow physicians, TSPMG physicians lead the way in improving clinical practice, conducting medical research, and improving overall health care quality for our members and our communities.
We believe a long-term relationship between a member and a personal physician makes for the best care. Studies support this belief. They also show that members are most satisfied with their care when they have an ongoing relationship with a medical staff member. So it's important that members choose someone they trust and with whom they feel comfortable.
